Terms of Service

By accessing or using GoalBranch (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. The Service is based in Greece.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@goalbranch.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service or generate AI output at scale without our express permission
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on third-party rights
• Use the Service to generate content that violates OpenAI's usage policies

You retain ownership of all goals, plans, and other content you create within GoalBranch. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for purposes other than providing and improving the Service.

GoalBranch uses artificial intelligence (including OpenAI models) to generate goal breakdowns, suggestions, and other content. AI output is probabilistic and provided “as-is”: it may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before relying on it. We do not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or appropriateness of AI-generated suggestions. Your use of AI features is also subject to OpenAI's terms, which apply in addition to these Terms.

Free accounts have no payment obligations. Paid plans (Pro, Max) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, who handles billing, sales tax/VAT, and invoicing on our behalf.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again. See our Refund Policy for details on refund eligibility.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including OpenAI (AI processing), Lemon Squeezy (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Google (optional sign-in). Your use of features powered by these providers is also subject to their respective terms of service.

GoalBranch and its original content, features, branding, and functionality (excluding your content) are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without our prior written consent.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES, OR THAT AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoalBranch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold GoalBranch harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country of residence (e.g. EU consumers).

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
